This simple line is my mission statement for this blog. Essentially, it is a record. A record for myself, and for anyone who knows me, or wishes to.
I do not keep this blog to impress anyone. It is my personal blog. However, if you like it, I will be very happy!

My name is David Samson. I fall into many pigeon holes, carrying such labels as -
Nurse Gay man
Scottish Immigrant Funny Weird
Spooky Handsome (Ha!)
Ambitious Driven
Obsessive
- and so on.
I suppose, after all those labels are stripped away, I am just a regular guy, who likes to write.
I enjoy anything Sci-Fi, I love the internet - I would be incomplete without it, and have a variety of interests such as photography, painting, video editing and cooking.
In 2009 I emigrated with my partner of 10 years, to Australia, from Scotland. So far, it is the best move I have ever made.
If you read through Views Of A Star Child, I hope you will get a real flavour of who I am, as a person.
